The Canadian Wellness Practitioners Council (CWPC) is committed to promoting ethical, responsible, and professional conduct among wellness practitioners across Canada.

Our Code of Ethics provides guiding principles for members in their professional practice, client relationships, and public responsibilities.

Ethical Principles

CWPC members are expected to uphold the following principles:

Practitioners must act honestly, responsibly, and in good faith.

Practitioners must provide services within their education, training, experience, and scope of practice.

Practitioners must protect client information and maintain confidentiality, except where disclosure is required by law.

Practitioners must communicate clearly about services, fees, qualifications, and limitations of practice.

Practitioners must take responsibility for their professional conduct and cooperate with CWPC policies and review processes.

Professional Boundaries

Practitioners must maintain appropriate professional relationships and avoid conflicts of interest, exploitation, or conduct that may compromise professional judgment.
